- Measure your crate's external dimensions: length (front to back), width (side to side), and height (floor to top). Choose the cover size with matching L × W × H.
- Quick dog check: measure your dog's back length (base of neck to base of tail) and shoulder height — the crate should allow your dog to stand up and turn around comfortably. The table above gives typical dog-fit guidance to help decide.
- Allow about 1–2 in of clearance for easy fit and door access; small manufacturing variance up to ~0.4 in may occur.
