- Measure your pet from the tip of the nose to the base of the tail while curled or sleeping (curled length).
- Also note your pet’s shoulder/torso height when sitting (to compare with the bed height).
- Choose a bed where your pet’s curled length is at least 2–4 in shorter than the bed’s length for comfortable curling room; allow extra width if your pet stretches.
- If your pet is between sizes, pick the larger size for a roomier fit or if they like to sprawl.
