Quick measuring guide
- Measure your dog from the base of the neck (where collar sits) to the base of the tail — this is the length your dog usually stretches when sleeping. Record in inches.
- Add 6–12 inches to that length for a comfortable stretch (6 in for curled sleepers, 10–12 in for dogs that like to fully stretch).
- For very tall or broad dogs, also measure shoulder width and choose the next larger size if shoulder width exceeds the bed's usable space.
Example: a dog that measures 36 in nose-to-tail would be best on a bed that is about 42–48 in long. Use the XL (shown) dimensions above — 47.6 × 29.9 in — to confirm fit, or pick XXL/JUMBO for larger stretch or taller breeds.
