- Chest (girth): Measure the widest part of your dog’s ribcage, just behind the front legs — record in inches.
- Body length: Measure from the base of the neck (where the collar sits) to the base of the tail — record in inches.
- Weight: Weigh your dog if possible — compare to the weight guidance above (lbs).
Use these three simple numbers (chest, body length, weight) to pick S or M. If your dog’s chest and body length sit near the higher end of a size’s range, choose the next size up for comfort. The carrier has adjustable straps to fine-tune the fit once you receive it.
