- Measure width across the widest part of the shoulders/chest.
- Compare your measurements to the size row above — if your pet is between sizes, choose the larger size for comfort (allow ~1–2 in of extra clearance).
If you’re unsure, use the shoulder-height measurement as the primary check: the selected size should leave at least a small clearance so your pet can pass through without stooping.
