Quick fit guidance: This playpen provides a roughly 3.8 ft × 3.3 ft floor area at full spread and about 15 in of internal height. It's built for small pets and is roomy for small rabbits, ferrets, guinea pigs, and similar animals. If you are considering a very small dog, expect it to fit only very small breeds (toy/small) and use the measurements below to confirm.
How to measure your pet:
- Length: measure from the tip of the nose to the base of the tail — the play area should be at least 1.5–2× your pet's length for comfortable play.
- Height: measure from floor to top of head — allow at least 2× that height so your pet can rear up or stand if needed (the pen height is ~15 in).
- Weight guidance (approx.): recommended for small pets and very small dog breeds — if a dog is larger than a toy/small breed (over ~15 lbs), this pen is likely too small.
