- Measure your crate's exterior: Length (front to back), Width (side to side), and Height (floor to top). Choose the cover size with dimensions equal to or slightly larger than these exterior measurements.
- If selecting by dog size instead of crate: measure your dog's length (nose to base of tail) and shoulder height. Allow at least 2–4 in of extra height and length for clearance and ventilation.
- When in doubt, pick the next size up — a slightly larger cover provides better ventilation and easier access to doors/windows.
