- If your dog sleeps stretched-out, choose a size where the bed’s length is at least 4–8 in longer than your dog’s body length. If your dog curls, allow 2–4 in extra width for comfortable turning.
- Between two sizes? Choose the larger size for extra room and easier entry.
How to measure your dog (quick):
- Measure body length: from the base of the neck (where the collar sits) to the base of the tail while your dog is standing or lying naturally.
- Measure width: at the widest part of the body (across shoulders or hips).
- Compare those numbers to the bed’s dimensions above and add the recommended extra room (4–8 in length for stretchers; 2–4 in width for curlers) before choosing the size.
