- Measure length: from the base of the neck to the base of the tail.
- Measure width/chest: the widest point when your pet is relaxed or curled.
- Height: measure from the floor to the top of your pet when sitting or standing (to confirm entrance/clearance).
Choose a size where the bed's interior length and width are at least 2–4 inches larger than your pet's measured length/width. If your pet sleeps stretched out, add ~4 inches; if they curl tightly, ~2 inches extra is usually enough.
