Quick measuring guide
- Measure your dog from the tip of the nose to the base of the tail (this is the length). For curled dogs, measure while they are curled in a comfortable sleeping position.
- Measure the widest point (shoulders or hips) to check width, and measure shoulder height if your dog sits with head raised to check height clearance.
- How to pick: choose a size where the interior length is at least 2–4 inches longer than your dog’s measured length if they curl; add ~4 inches if your dog likes to fully stretch out. For headroom, pick a size with interior height at least 2 inches above your dog’s shoulder height.
Example: a 10–15 lb dog that measures ~18 in nose-to-tail will be comfortable in the L (19.7 in interior length) or XL if they like extra space.
